Credential Pathways After FCD
Successful completion of the 120-hour FCD program can support your next step toward nationally recognized career development credentials.
NCDA Certified Career Services Provider (CCSP)
Successful completers of the NCDA Facilitating Career Development (FCD) Training and Certification Program are eligible to apply for the Certified Career Services Provider (CCSP) credential through NCDA. NCDA describes the CCSP as a competency-based credential for professionals who provide career services in a variety of settings.
Certified Master of Career Services (CMCS)
FCD training can help satisfy the career development training requirement for the NCDA Certified Master of Career Services credential. Applicants must also meet NCDA’s education and substantial career services experience requirements.
Certified Career Counselor (CCC)
FCD training can satisfy the career specialization component for the NCDA Certified Career Counselor credential. Applicants must also hold an appropriate master’s-level or higher counseling degree, meet required graduate coursework requirements, and complete NCDA’s credentialing process.
Global Career Development Facilitator (GCDF)
Harrison & Associates International LLC is currently listed by the Center for Credentialing & Education as a CCE-approved Registered Credential Training Provider (RCTP1003-GCDF) for the 120-hour Facilitating Career Development training. GCDF applicants must meet CCE’s full eligibility requirements in addition to completing approved training.
Completion of FCD training does not automatically award a credential. Each credentialing organization establishes its own application, eligibility, assessment, and maintenance requirements.
CCE-Approved Registered Credential Training Provider
Harrison & Associates International LLC is a Center for Credentialing & Education (CCE)-approved Registered Credential Training Provider, RCTP1003-GCDF, for the 120-hour Facilitating Career Development (FCD) Training. Completion of approved training is one requirement for GCDF credential eligibility. Applicants must meet all additional CCE eligibility and application requirements.
